RFIs & NCRs
RFIs and NCRs are modules in the ETHOS platform that help clarify project requirements and maintain quality standards on construction sites.
What Are RFIs and NCRs in Construction?
Requests for Information (RFIs): A formal communication tool used when items in the contract or specifications are missing, unclear, or conflicting. RFIs provide a record of clarifications or confirmations from the owner or design team needed to continue construction.
Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs): Used to document any deviations from project specifications or cases where work does not meet agreed quality standards.
RFI & NCR Tracking Features
- Submit RFIs to gather information or resolve conflicts in project documents
- Record and track clarifications to ensure everyone is working from the same understanding
- Issue NCRs to document non-conformances and trigger corrective actions
Benefits for Construction Teams
RFIs help teams resolve uncertainties and keep construction moving without delays. NCRs maintain project integrity by ensuring all work meets the required standards.
